PITKISSER by Mollie Mills
£15.00

PITKISSER is a two-channel film installation by photographer and filmmaker Mollie Mills that explores Los Angeles’ ‘girl mosh’ subculture, which follows Syerrah and Kris, two girls in search of redemption from violence as they find solace and euphoria in the hot lick of the pit.
The accompanying book was created by Mollie as a photographic testament to the genre-hybrid visual arts project.
The title features dozens of photographs alongside illustrations, text interventions, and an essay by Mollie.
"The real stars of Hollywood, and Los Angeles broader aren’t in the hills. They’re creating expansive, community-driven counter-culture. People always say LA is superficial; I might argue it’s survivalist." - Mollie Mills for The Face
